A Quick Note

I don't usually like to leave the blog too long without posting but I think this time I have a rather good excuse- I started my brand new job this week and am finally getting to do what I have been wanting to do for quite a long time, so I am very happy. However they have been keeping me super busy hence the lack of content.  I do have quite a few things I have been meaning to post, so hopefully normal service will resume this weekend.

In the mean time, please enjoy the 'Thieves' video from She & Him.  I am a big fan of Zooey Deschanel and that love has only been increased by this video shot in rather vintage looking black and white with Zooey resembling a silent film star.  Magic.

In tribute to Alexander McQueen

The fashion world lost one of its greatest talents today, as Alexander McQueen was found dead at his London home. Above is his SS10 show, 'Plato's Atlantis', which in a ground breaking maneuver was streamed live from Paris via Nick Knight's SHOWstudio website. I can honestly say I was blown away when I saw this for the first time, and it is his work and vision in particular that had inspired me to pursue a career in creative production. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
