Across the Universe

Space traveller and model JP takes a cosmic trip across the universe in one of the most recent and more radical offerings from California natives, Planet Blue.  Galaxy and space inspired prints seem to be everywhere at the moment, from Christopher Kane's original Resort collection all the way up to Black Milk's star spangled lycra creations- but I just can't get enough of them!

Ambushed

Photobucket
Ambush Boots £75- Topshop

It was shoe-lust at first sight.   The perfect 'goes with everything' ankle boot; the low block heel making them utilitarian enough for running around in during the day teamed with skinny jeans and dressy enough to wear at night to toughen up prety floral tea dresses.  The zip detail adding just the right amount of grunge chic.

After major bout of procrastination caused me to miss out on these last time round I had been internet stalking the Topshop site for weeks, waiting for these bad boys to come back in to stock. So glad I've finally ordered them!  They also bear a striking resemblance to the Acne Pistol boots but at a third of the price.

gold tone semi precious ring £14 from Topshop

Please excuse the terrible posing but I had to show you my beautiful new ring that I am absolutely obsessed with!  It was a bit more than I would usually pay for a piece of costume jewellery but I just couldn't leave the shop without it.

It's unusual art deco-esque shape reminds me alot of the YSL Arty Ovale rings I have been coveting for so long, so the way I see it I have infact saved myself £100 by opting for a high street version.  Ahhh spendaholic logic; I blame my mother.

I was already a big fan of their jeans, but Cheap Monday have some really awesome seperates at the moment as well.  I'll take all three of these 90's inspired pieces please- especially that super versatile looking LBD.

Loving this Spiked Headband from Gold Saturn.  Even better, it looks like it could be the simplest D.I.Y ever...

Some boho inspiration for layering up against the cold this winter, courtesy of LF Stores. I especially love the last look with it's transparent maxi/cropped slouchy jumper/faux fur collar/hat combo. And the Fairisle leggings in the set before.

Madewell

A collaboration that was bound to be a sure fire hit- Alexa Chung for Madewell.  The Tennessee Velvet dress looks very Wednesday Adams and infinitely wearable.

Seeing Spots

Photobucket

Oh my days, I need this dress. Maybe it's just because the ever-hip Lou Doillon is wearing it, but it looks like the perfect 'dress up' or 'dress down' dress, and it just looks so effortlessly cool! And I'm picky about my leopard print but this is perfection.  And with that sequin jacket?  Drool.

Apparently it's from the Fashion Against Aids Range at H&M. Need to go there pronto.
