A lover I don't have to love

Photobucket

Just went on a an epic (accidental) shopping trip and scored these Jeffrey Campbell clogs with 75% off.  Whoop.  I didn't buy anything I actually intended to buy but plenty that I didn't.  Why does that always happen?

Edit:  I've just realized I actually blogged about these very shoes in March last year.  Ha.

Elle Fanning for LOVE #6 F/W
photographed by Mert Atlas & Marcus Piggot

Oh my god.  I think my obsession with the Fanning sisters just increased ten fold!  Totally blown away by this cover from Mert & Marcus.

Elle looks positively other wordly here- sort of like Kirsten Dunst's character, Claudia the vampire damned to spend eternity as a child in 'Interview with the Vampire'?  I will definitely be purchasing this issue now for the rest of this editorial alone.

Illusions d’Ombres de Chanel in Peridot

It's green, it's gold and every colour in between. It's lust at first sight. Gimme.  (Oh and it's my birth stone- that's got to be a sign right?!)

"Well I own this field
And I wrote this sky
And I have no reason to reason with you"

I'm still hoping for a rapturously golden summer like the one Miss Abbey Lee is enjoying.  But it has rained non-stop all day today and most of the weekend.  I think I might have to head to warmer shores to feel the sun on my skin again.

Jennifer Humphrey for Spanish Moss
photographed by Andrew Kuykendall

Completeley in love with Spanish Moss' new lookbook, photographed by Andrew Kuykendall and marking the re-launch of their brand new website.  The styling, the clothes, the model- it's all so perfect!

Although I would really expect nothing less from this amazing store that carries so many inspired and progressive brands.  Not least their very own American Gold, full of hippie inspired pieces with a rock and roll edge to make your bohemian heart melt and the best selection of vintage I have ever come acorss.  Also Aussie favourite Style Stalker and killer accessories brand Deadly Ponies (I want every single on of their bags).

The Olsens added to their already highly successful fashion empire this month by launching their latest venture, Stylemint. An exclusive T shirt collection with imagery shot by their pal and renowned fashion snapper Terry Richardson.

Check out the video for some behind the scenes footage weaving their sartorial magic on the set of the StyleMint photo shoot.

Totally in love with the new look book from Aussie label Style Stalker. Shot on location at the now infamous hangout of Young Hollywood stars such as La Lohan, the Chateau Marmont.

Photographed by Wildfox's Kimberley Gordon and featuring insanely beautiful (seriously she is flawless in e-v-e-r-y picture) super-blogger Alexandra Spencer; this is a creative collabaration made in street-style heaven.

I'm aware the Resort shows were a couple of months ago now but I wanted to share with you one of the stand out collections of the season from Theyskens Theory.  Better late than never, right?

It wasn't just the usual front-row glitterati donning shades at Theyskens' Theory; the models breezed down the mirrored runway in matching mirrored aviators and well worn looking separates which were at the same time exquisitely cut and deliciously slouchy and worn with a nod to the 90's with ankle boots and bare legs.

Otherwise pretty bias cut floral printed dresses inspired by the work of painter James Entor were roughed up with perfectly proportioned shrunken biker jackets, continuing Theyskens' Theory of cool.
