The neon trend has been around for a while now but I love this update on it for winter. Adding a highlighter bright beanie to an otherwise more neutral outfit instantly gives it a lift. My favourites are the ones in a soft mohair or cashmere fabric, such as the Acne one above worn by Elin Kling.

This editorial has been sitting on my desktop for quite a while now- about 2 months to be precise. Woops. However I just had to share it. I love the contrast of all the heavy knits against Zippora's bare skin, barely there bikinis and and beach hair. It's a story that perfectly captures the transition of summer in to autumn.
The styling in this denim 2012 collection from Insight is the epitome of how I want to dress right now; like a complete tomboy! I love the 80's/90's touches here with the baseball cap, cropped tops and oversize tshirts it has a 'Lords of Dogtown' feel to it.
I've been living in t shirts and denim cut offs and high tops of late and was toying with the idea of a baseball cap when I came across one in H&M a few weeks ago and after seeing these images I'm pretty much sold. I'm also lusting after those pretty perfect looking shredded boyfriend jeans...
Loving studded everything at the moment but I'm especially taken with the idea of these conical shaped spike studs on the shoulders of a jacket- stegosaurus style. Worn oversize and acid washed it adds a tough edge to an otherwise simple or pretty outfit.
The Ragged Priest have an amazing selection of all things studded but I feel like this would be a fun DIY to do yourself. Let the eBay hunt begin!
Is it just me or is camo print looking really good right now? This is one trend I wouldn't really have seen myself resurrecting from my school days but like a lot of other 90's grunge inspired trends it seems to be making a comeback. My favourite way to wear it is in the form of oversized, 'stolen from your boyfriend' style jackets- I just can't get enough.
And even better, they're surprisingly versatile and pretty perfect for the rather unpredictable weather of our British 'summertime'; looking just as great with your trusty denim cutoffs and vintage band tee as they do thrown over a 'barely there' mini worn with bare legs and sleeves rolled up to reveal stacks of arm swag.
